If it is your only IA and you accept responsibility for your mistake, it will not matter. If you have a second IA, or if you blame this one on the influence of your peers, it will be a different story.

update: i called my school’s conduct office and they said there was nothing on my file so it was just a warning 🙂

...how do you get just an undocumented warning for alcohol lol. At my school not only would it be on file, you'd have to go through a mandatory probation program for a semester.

Different schools handle things differently. One school I know of sends drunk students to the infirmary and they don't have an IA as it is treated as a medical issue and not misconduct. That doesn't preclude being sent for health education to prevent future situations of that kind.
