We get a product that has C=C in the presense of heat

whereas, we do not get C=C when there is no heat present right?

I was solving Topscore and the question was aksing aldol condensation

and the solvent they used was NaOH/H3O+ with no heat.

So i answered there is no answer to the choice, however, they put the

answer with the one C=C.

So now i am confused. I learend from Destryoer that there are no

condensation of water in the absence of heat. Which is correct?

i had the exact same issue when i took the topscore exam. organic odyssey said the c=c bonds only in the form of heat, but topscore exam said otherwise. someone else on here told me that if a conjugated molecule is possible then heat isnt necessary. but really, i think topscore may just be wrong. i've seen a few other errors on the exam. example topscore exam 3 about atp hydrolysis, you'll see when you get there.

How certain are you that it is an aldol condensation. If you can post the question it would be great but with OH- you have to be careful your not eliminating
