Got my Bachelors in 92 but no prereq sciences at that time. Took me 2 years to finish all the sciences due to course progressions and a move which cost me a semester.
Received my B.S. in Biomedical Sciences...all of my pre-reqs were required for my degree. It seems as though Pharmacy schools are starting to show preference towards degrees as it's becoming more competitive and more competitive.

I also have a four-year degree and took an extra year to finish my prereqs - so 5 years here.
2 years of undergrad plus 2 summer quarters. But I ended up retaking one class during my third year (the year that I actually applied). And nope no degree here.
4 years for my BS in (marine) biology and then 2 part time quarters (2cr, 7cr) to finish the prereqs.
I just realized that I actually have a minor in chemistry. That's wierd, man.

4 years as BS in Natural Science and Mathematics, all were done except stupid economics, which took me one night class at nearby community college. I also agree with peoepl who said pharmacy school these days prefer degrees. Since there are numerous reports saying pharmacist are shortage and they are making very good salary right out of the school, i think applicaiton pool will increase a lot every year. make the school more competitive. which is good in a sense that others won't view pharmacy school as back up plan for MD or DO or DDS (no offense) sometimes.
3 years because the first year I was not sure what I wanted to do. I only took classes 1 summer though.

All accepted or current pharmacy majors, How many years or how many semesters it took you to complete the all the pre-requisites? How did you do your pre-pharmacy, got Associate's, Bechaler's or Non-degree?
Thanx!
I completed my BS in Biology in 2001, and then completed any other pre-reqs missing last summer and this last spring before matriculation.
2 years, 17-18 hours per semester at the local community college.
BAH BAH BAH on schools with dual credit. Actually...bah just on mine because our stupid high school didn't believe in dual credit, which is certainly a load of crock. I wish I had started to prepare for college earlier. Going in with 12-18 hrs. under my belt would have been sweet.
