Hi all!
I m a new one on this forum........cant understand what this newly developed craze for pathology is all about....
I myself is a pgy2 n literally its such a depressing world outthere with d deads...
doing autopsies n all d related scut work.....
no real patient contacts only those dead tissues n fixations in formalin...
with so much inputs n so little gains ,be it monetary or mental satisfaction..
n with d competition increasing so much with loads n loads of pathologists churned out each yr........
really dont think its a field worth continuing...
what r ur experiences....or is it me who alone is suffering...

I like the phrase "newly developed craze."

Yes, pathology is a brand new, trendy field which is destined to go the way of the clear beverage craze and Milli Vanilli.
