I simply cannot squeeze Phys I & II in the Fall and Spring. All my other pre-reqs will be complete by the spring of 2010, which are:

Eng Comp I & II
A & P I & II
Bio I & II
Calc I
Gen Chem I & II
Org Chem I & II
Speech
Microbiology
Psychology
Economics

My pre-reqs are recent, except Psychology and Economics and various humanities classes (foreign language, history, sociology, etc) which I took over 8 years ago to complete a BA. Will it be necessary to take them over again?

Should I apply in the Spring of 2010 or after I take Physics I & II ? Please advise. Thank you.

When are you planning on entering pharm school? If it is next fall then you need to apply now and find a way to get those classes done. If it is for fall 2011, then you can apply next summer or fall and take physics the following year. As for your old pre-reqs, contact your schools and ask. I think they care about the science classes being recent and not so much about the elective classes but you should find out for sure.

Applying now probably wouldn't be realistic. I have not taken the pcat yet and am totally unprepared to do so, given a large part of the test is on organic and calculus. My hope was to get into Pharmacy College for the Fall of 2011.

If you're not going to have the pre-reqs done by the time you would be matriculating, then they will not let you in. Find a way to finish them. There's no way you don't have "time," it would just be a matter of taking a larger credit load.

Well I guess you answered your own question. If you want to get into Pharmacy school in 2011 then don't try to burden yourself for the next 2 semesters. Now if you were in my position then it would be stressful.

In that case, you just need to have your pre-reqs done by spring 2011. You can apply while your pre-reqs are still in progress as long as you get them done in the spring or in some cases the summer before you enter school.

You can apply before your done with your pre-reqs, as for the old stuff you usually don't have to repeat them. Most schools I applied to only want the science and math to be recent... My English class is over 6 years old and I haven't had any problems with it.
