I took DAT one year ago. At that time I got the papers and a few pencils.
Now changed? Somebody mentioned about the fine marker. All the centers give only fine marker?

And one year ago, I took DAT in Fairlawn, NJ. The computer was too old and the mouse was not that good. Are other test centers in the same condition? I have four options as follows.
Can anybody recommend the center that I take DAT this time? Thanks.

1. FAIRLAWN, NJ 07410
2. 1 PENN PLAZA, SUITE 1540, NEW YORK, NY 10119
3. 1 PENN PLAZA, 17TH FL, SUITE 1728, NEW YORK, NY 10119
4. 675 THIRD AVENUE, SECOND FLOOR, NEW YORK, NY 10017

i took it in Fairlawn in Nov. and I don't think they changed a thing, but I don't think it matters much.

Why not check out the test center yourself? I doubt they'll mind.

The first time I took it the test center had really old computers, making the PAT difficult. I retook at the same center, but they had updated all of their computers. I did much better on PAT the second time, so I think it makes a difference.

When i took the DAT they gave me dirty laminated pieces of construction paper and a fat, half dry, dry erase marker. Needless to say the reading comprehension was extremely difficult like this. My notes were huge and took forever to write. My hand was black from all of the rubbing to erase.
