So that I can study to retake the MCAT in peace! Even though I know that I'm rejected at all of them, some stupid doubt still occurs in my mind that some school will give me a great late interview and I'm miraculously accepted. I need to focus on studying instead of daydreaming.

I didn't pay $100 each for you to put me through this agony. Do all these schools model their admission committees after the California Senate?

I concur. Silent rejections are the worst. To feed your doubt: it's not unheard of to get an interview invite this late (NOW try studying!) MUAHAHAHAHA.

I feel your pain OP. Can't focus on the studying for the MCAT. I know an ice cube's chance in Hell is pretty much all we've got at this point, but it's not over yet. We'll just have to wait a bit longer to reunite with our old friend Salty.

It would be freakin' awesome if someone were to pull in 5-6 interviews in the last two weeks at this point. But, I think the poster was referring to rejections letters.

that makes a lot more sense. I just read monkey's "it's not unheard of to get an interview invite this late" and then CRB's "I've gotten 5 or 6 in the last two weeks" and jumped the gun...

my hopes are back to "normal" (read: super low) levels 😳
