We all get those emails or letters from our alma mata asking for donations and uodates. Natively, I donated as a poor premed doing a PB hoping that would slow down the solicitations. Nope, the last two months I have gotten 5-10 emails/postcards/letters asking for donations and updates. While I'm proud that I am going to become a physician, I just can't help but think if I update them with that fact, all my alma mater will see is $$$, not the mountain of debt that I will graduate with and the barrage of solicitations will surely break the dam. I do plan on giving back/donating more once I am able.
