The other day my cousin mentioned the Alpha Delta Alpha medical society. He told me it was a popular medical society for students desiring competitive residencies.

How about D.O students? Do they have a society of their own? Can D.O students be inducted into the A Delta A?

He most likely meant AOA (Alpha Omicron Alpha)....the national DO honor society is SSP (Sigma Sigma Phi)

I think you mean AOA, which is an allopathic honor society. DO schools supposedly have one but it isn't as selective or meaningful as the allopathic one.
