Already Verified by AACOMAS

Didn't know if this had already happened to anyone else, but just now logging into AACOMAS, I see the image I've pasted below. Looks like I've already been verified, even though no one has submitted yet.

Just to see if it was a fluke, I went into the "Colleges and Coursework" section of the application and I was unable to change any of the information, I'm assuming because it's already been verified.

Guess the folks at AACOMAS are getting a head start? Thoughts?

Weird. It specifically says that verification will start when all the sections are check marked. Is this your second time applying? Maybe thats why the verification was very fast.

when was your "Colleges and Coursework" section of the application completed and when did AACOMAS receive your transcripts?

I transferred all of my information from last year's application, so the Colleges & Coursework section was complete May 3. I had transcripts coming from 2 schools; the first was received electronically on May 3 and the second was received by snail-mail on May 11.

Did you only have those 2 transcripts last cycle as well? Is all your course work the same as last cycle? I am assuming that If no new transcripts were added and your course work didn't change from last cycle, then that might have sped up your verification process.

That checkmark doesn't mean your application has been verified... it just means AACOMAS has received your transcript.

Once you submit your application and payment, AACOMAS will take your application and crosscheck it with the transcript they received, among other things they do with your app. This is all part of the 3-6 week verification period.

The checkmark does indicate that the transcripts have been received, but if you look right above that, is says "Current: Verified" and "Release dates will appear next to schools."

Some of my future/planned coursework did change, but perhaps it was simple enough?

Weird. Either email AACOMAS about it, or just wait a week to see if schools end up receiving your AACOMAS app.

I'd email AACOMAS, though.

"AACOMAS is pre-verifying applications that have all colleges and coursework data entered.* Your app will not be sent to the colleges until you have paid the fee and submitted and that can't occur until after June 1.* Until you pay and submit the app will not be sent out."

I was verified within 12hrs of submitting on June 1st because all of my stuff was in early...

All of my sections were complete on May 3. My last transcript arrived May 11, so I'm assuming I was pre-verified a few business days after that.
