One thing I'll say is that 7 sections makes for a long day. By the last few blocks I was so sick of staring at a computer screen.... but whatever. My test wasn't that bad overall... of course there were a bunch of questions that I had no clue on, but I went into this thing expecting that. I think that after 350 questions, there are enough in there that you know that you had no idea on that the whole test seems skewed toward the harder side, because you tend to remember the ones you didn't know. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much Biochem or Cell Biology on mine (which are definitely my weak points)... there was some, but over the course of 350 questions, probably not nearly enough to seriously affect my score by missing most of them (which I might have). Embryo was pretty straightforward. Anatomy and Neuroanatomy weren't that bad either. Micro wasn't too bad. Mine seemed to be heavy in Endocrine/ Reproductive stuff, which seemed to be asked in a weird way to make me second-guess myself. I would say that was the biggest thing that pissed me off about the test... the way a lot of the answers were phrased were not how I would expect a certain disease process to be presented, and this made me just that much more unsure about a lot of my answers. As a result, there were a lot less that I knew I got right... I was pretty sure on a lot of them, but not confident enough, if that makes any sense. I also felt like some of the 50 question blocks were harder than others.... I thought the first three went pretty well, then I felt like I was getting my ass kicked all through the fourth one, and had to take a lunch break after that one.
Well, whatever, it's done, I probably did better than I think I did, so I'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime I think I'll get drunk. For a month.
