alternate list at UofM

So I called Michigan today because I saw someone found out they got in by calling only to hear I was put on the alternate list. I believe it is the same as waitlist. My interview date was November 7th. This is kinda sucky considering I know people at UofM, have high enough stats for UofM, and I am a Michigan resident/UofM student.

All I have to say is this sucks. I am now waitlisted at my top 2 schools I guess it could be worse though. At least I got in somewhere...

I was told that they go pretty deep into the alternate list so you should be fine. I got in with lower stats than you so you should be fine.
