'Alternate' List for NOVA Southeastern DENTAL?

Hey Guys, I just found out that I was put onto the 'alternate' list for NOVA Dental school. Is this the same as wait list?

If so, is it worst than wait list? what are my chancest of getting in? Thanks.

Anyone in a similar situation?

The alternate list = wait list. There is an earlier post with a few people that have also found out they have been wait listed. It is ranked and they usually never tell you what you're ranking is. I'm sure there is still a good chance for many people to still have a seat as not everyone they have offered seats to will accept.

are u sure? The wait list = alternate list? I read somewhere that they go through the whole wait list first before they get to the alternate list.. unless I was misinformed.. If wait list = alternate list that would be great. Thanks.

how did you find out you were on waitlist? Do they mail out letters or send an email?

I received a little envelope with a letter in there stating that I was an 'alternate' candidate.

all i know is that i received the same letter saying i was an alternate candidate last year so it is my assumption that it is the wait list, i don't know why they would have a wait list and another alternate candidate list, seems like too many lists to me. you should ask this question in the earlier post with people saying they found out they have been wait listed, you should compare with them.
