Alternate list for ucla

So I was recently put on the alternate list for ucla and i am beyond sad. It was my number one choice and i felt like my interview went well. My heart was so set on ucla and these recent events just broke me. Now that i am on the list does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve my chances? Or if you were in the same situation how likely does ucla accept alternates?

Stay positive , there is always a chance. UCLA is pretty slow and you could hear even as late as the summer. Good luck
