"Alternate" List

I was recently put on the alternate list at ETSU. However, I've been accepted to another school out of state and I start in a little over a month.
I know for a fact that one of the interviewees were accepted this evening and declined. There may be more considering most of them were out-of-state this year. (We did a show of hands)

What are my chances and what advice would you give me? Does anyone know how many people are on this list? Thanks!

I should also mention that it is NOT rolling admission.

I'd say 50-50 chance that you will get in. No one knows what your # is in the waiting line and no one knows how many people will decline.It's a gamble, unfortunately.

They can. It is up to the school if they want to, though.
