if you happen to get on the alternate list, it will be wise for you to accept that you will not get in that year. unless you are #1 or #2 on the list, chances of you getting that slot is pretty slim. in my school there was only 1 person who got in from the waiting list. out of probably over 300 people who were put on the waiting list. just be realistic, dont get your hopes up too much. sorry to bear a bad news.
My friend got put on tha list last year and she got in. It really all depends because often applicants would get accepted and then choose not to go to that particular school. Hence, freeing up slots for people on the waiting list. Don't worry =).
I heard from my school advisor that you have to call and ask them the reason of rejection. (to make a good impression), then apply next year. In my opinion, people have better chance the second year because it shows you really want to go into pharmacy career.
I just received a letter that I'm on the alternate list at PBA. Is there anything I can do - get additional recommendations, call them up, or write a letter of my strengths - to bump me up?
