Well my ego has officially been shot as of 10 min. ago cuz i finally opened the AZCOM letter that i've been dying for and instead of reading "CONGRATULATIONS!"...i read "you have been placed on the alternate list"

now i don't know exactly how to feel about that so i was hopin' maybe some of you that have been on such lists before if maybe you can tell me how long did it take to hear that you've been accepted...specifically azcom's alternate list

i can't imagine waiting until the first day of classes to hear the results as the letter says i might have to...all while losing deposits to other schools!

Just kidding. Sorry about the not so great news...as for the waitlist my friend there says they've had peple notified a week before class started that they were accepted. I know AZCOM does interviews late (as in May late) so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Sorry to hear the news, but it is still really early and you have a lot of time to have that list move. Remember there are a lot of people who will be giving their seat up between now and June. Cheer up🙂

Well i hate to bust a bubble here but ill tell you about my waitlist experience. I was an alternate at ccom last year...waited all year, through the summer, and never got a spot. they didnt move one person off of the list and in fact they are still overbooked by 18. So unfortunately there isnt a way to predict what will happen. Honestly it all depends on how many they accept and how many chose azcom. I unlike you didnt have any acceptances at the time so i arranged to move to chicago regardless and now im taking classes at midwestern as an at larg student. I wouldnt get too upset, and try not to stress because it can be a very very very long wait. Anytime anything on your application changes...let them know...try to find an alumni to write for you, add anything you can to your file...but also keep in mind that you are working against numbers!!!
