Alternate vs. Waitlist

What's the difference between alternate and waitlist at LECOM-Erie.

I just got the letter today for being an alternate and i might get accepted up till august 1, 2005... so now i have to study for the mcats and retake them without knowing my fate...if i would just know now if i get in or not i don't have to go through all the stress of studying for the mcats again..this sucks a lot..in addition i interviewed at lecom bradenton..and they said they already have 130 deposits and sent out about 20 acceptance letters for a class of 150...so if anyone of these ppl back out then i have a chance IF i am considered accepted.... does that go in order of when you were accepted?? how does something like this work?? and what are the chances???

Wait list and Alternate is the same thing.

You never know if you will get in or not this cycle. Depending on the school and how many people withdraw their application.

I would say if you got accepted this time arround, if you apply early for next year you are prob going to get in.
