Hi! I'm a student in Virginia and was wondering this:

Would it be just as good to take Graduate level course at UVA or other VA schools (Mary Washington because its close to home) instead of an official post-bacc program (Like GMU and VCU) during my gap year?
I'm asking because taking additional courses would be cheaper compared to an official post-bacc program.

Do you know anyone who took additional grad courses instead?

GPA is 3.0 overall and Science GPA is probably a little under 3.0..

DAT AA: 21 and PAT: 22
Applying for the first time this summer.

ECs : a LOT of leadership, Secretary of Pre-dental society, about 140 hours of shadowing/volunteering, Author for a research paper.

1: call/email Dr. Healy at VCU and make an appt with him and ask him this question. Whatever he tells you, do it.
2: I would do my post-bac or whatever at VCU. Since your goal is to get into VCU, you can get to know the deans and dental students while you are at VCU.
