What would you guys do if you guys don't get in this year. I have a feelings that i won't get in since so many predent score a really good score on DAT and have average GPA do not get in. This process i think more about luck than just numbers.
Mine is planning one year hiding from my family and go to work as a waitress.

apply MD carribean school or pharmacy school! just incase if you don't get into dental school... that's my plan but i hope it does not happen to me...

it looks to me u haven't even taken the DATs year. and ur GPA is above average, by all means u need to go ahead and apply. just make sure you pull at least an 18AA to have ur application looked at. If u don't get in take the year off, improve ur application and reapply, until then find a job and save up some money, continue shadowing, etc. i think it shows dedication if you continue with the path you have chosen for urself in life, and its a major plus for adcoms to see improvement.

it'll depend on what you really want at the end.

if you still want to pursue dentistry after rejection, then you should definately focus on improving your resume - such as working at dental office, volunteer, post-bach / masters, retaking DAT (if wasnt high enough) and hopefully be able to work at the same time so you can make some money and not feel totally bad about yourself

i think if i do not get in this cycle, i am going to come home and do volunteer work, work at dental office, and take some more science classes at university in my home town (so i can live at my parent's house without paying rent)

and if you haven't applied yet, you can try to apply by May 1st for next year and increase your chance of acceptance

Come on guys , let's not think about that espesially at the beggining of the cycle. Try you best on the DAT and get the same or even better scores and then we'll see what you tell us about how confident you are about getting into Harvard school 😀 In addition, there are always people who get in a month or even less before a dental class starts.😱
