Always stuck on Math Destroyer

I started getting into Math Destroyer today and Im having a hard time with it. I read through KBB Math, but I feel like it leaves out information. I've only read through KBB to warm up for Math Destroyer. Is there anything else I should do prior? I don't want to waste these questions by memorizing the answer.

I've taken math classes up to Calc 2, so I'm not too terrible at math. I just have a hard time setting up the problem.

That book is hell. I have been going through it and making note of all the problems I don't understand.. I'm going to sit down with a math tutor several days before the DAT and hammer all the funky problems out.

Thats what I plan on doing, but throughout my studying. What did you use for QR before Math Destroyer? I only used KBB.
