So I'm 27 and after having a lot of non-academic withdrawals (due to health reasons) on my transcript and a downward trend to a 3.1 gpa I have pulled myself out of despair and have the right mentality to attempt to get into med school. I have started volunteering and for the next 5 semesters I will be taking my prereqs and upper level science classes to prove I can handle challenging school work.
Seeing how I've never had a career other than being a student, am I still a non trad? Will I be looked as someone who brings diversity to the table or as someone who just couldn't figure it out early on?
