If I submit at the tail-end of August/start of September, will I be late? I have pretty good stats...3.65/3.43/35 MCAT, and I applying to PCOM, CCOM, UNECom, Nova, KCUMB, Touro-NY, and a few others.
My issue is that I have not gotten a DO letter yet. The DO I shadowed for ~100 hours has yet to write my letter. I sent her the material she requested in mid-June and didn't see her again until the final time I shadowed her in the first week of July. I remember her saying something to the effect of "I got your materials, but I haven't gotten a chance to write it yet." A month later, I still haven't gotten it. Do you think I should send her an email, or should I wait a couple more weeks? She's extremely busy, but I know she's willing to write the letter. Also, somehow I forgot to send her a thank you note for letting me shadow her. Would sending a thank you letter now (3-4 weeks after shadowing) reflect really poorly on me? I feel kind of sick about it, to be honest.
