Hello all,
Just wondering if you guys think I'm bound to get into at least 1 D-school with this.
GPA: 3.66
sGPA:3.5

AA:19
PAT:20
TS:20

EC's - 100+ hours Cardiology shadowing, 20+ hours Neonatology shadowing, 100+ hours dental shadowing, 15 hours Ortho shadowing, Captain of summer hockey league team, Student Ambassador...and a few more.

Great letters of rec from O-chem professor, Bio prof (who is the head of the science dept.), Gen. Dentist, and Ortho who is actually a professor at a D-school...
So do I have a good shot at these schools?

Creighton
Midwestern AZ
Midwestern IL
BU
UW
Louisville
VCU
Tufts
Case
Maryland
Kentucky
Temple
ASDOH
Nebraska

What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Gorrilla

yes interview well and ure fine.

if you want, nyu can serve as a good backup school. theyr oos friendly. you probably can't to columbia since they require 3 science lors.

but with your stats, i think you can get in the schools you listed above so maybe save money with nyu.

Thanks, maybe I'll submit these and then in a month or some, when I get a few more $$ I'll submit to NYU?

You're fine with your schools and stats. Only apply to NYU if you really want to go there, which obviously you do not otherwise you would have applied there.

It's inaccurate to say you are bound to get in somewhere. It's a competitive process with many factors taken into consideration. It's safe to say you do look competitive enough to receive interviews.

Very good point, I think that's what I was "trying" to get at, but you worded it better.

I think you have a great chance to get interviews at those schools you referred to. I had very similar stats and was able to get a few interviews and a couple of acceptances. Good luck! (refer to predents page for stats if you would like)

Nebraska is super tough for OOS students, especially if your state doesn't have a program with them.
