Hello all,

Thank you for your interest in reading my post. I was wondering if I am considered a reapplicant in my situation. I have read a number of posts on this topic, but I have yet to find the consensus...

I was going to apply this cycle, so I created AMCAS and AACOMAS. However, due to a number of factors I decided to apply next cycle. For AMCAS, I added a few classes and a part of my PS (so my transcript was not verified). For AACOMAS, I added all my classes and added schools, but did not send my transcript. I am pretty sure for AMCAS I would not be considered a reapplicant, but not so sure about AACOMAS, because I heard by simply adding schools they may be notified. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your time to read my post!

If you didn't hit submit you aren't a re applicant.

Did you submit your app/pay for verification? (However, seeing as you didn't submit your transcript, I am gonna say no). If not, no, you're not a reapplicant for simply inputting things. If you never submitted, schools never got your application. You wouldn't be a reapplicant.

Thank you for your response. I don't even know why I added schools without an MCAT score, haha.

Thank you for your advice. I never submitted for verification and did not send my transcript. Looks like I won't even have to ask AMCAS for reassurance now. Thanks!
