Hey guys,

I took my DAT on 7/13 and submitted my application on 7/17, was just wondering if that will be considered late because I know it will take some time to verify transcript and GPA, and receive supplementary apps (My transcripts, and LOR have been sent and submitted to the ADEA AADSAS already). Also was wondering if schools will even look at my application without supplementary apps? Just wanted to know if I will be in a bad position (late applicant) since I submitted my app in mid July.

You'll be kind of late by the time you're verified (early August?) but that doesn't mean you won't get interviews or acceptances, they'll just come later than you may be expecting (e.g. post-December).

I would get started on those supplementary essays ASAP. Schools may look at your application, but it won't be complete for consideration/interview offers until you've done them, so it's a moot point.

You're not late at all and every school is different. If they have a supplemental app available to submit then they won't review your app until the supplemental is in (usually just a fee and some basic questions). For the schools that send supplementals AFTER reviewing your AADSAS, they'll review your AADSAS and let you know when they want more info.
