So I pretty much applied to a TON of DO schools. I'm afraid i'm gonna get swamped with interviews and such. Can I simply turn down interviews, and if so, wouldn't it be risky since i'm not guaranteed acceptance even after getting interviewed from a school?

How should I ride out the ****storm that is about to ensue.

Just because you applied, doesn't mean you are guaranteed interviews. Lets say that you did get too many interviews, just schedule your favorite schools first and if one of those accepts you - they you can decline the rest of the interviews. If you can afford it financially, go to all the interviews.

That's perfect advice. I haven't thought of going to my favorite schools first to turn down the rest if i'm accepted.

Hubris is a bit thick in the air today, eh?

Do you have a 3.9 and 320 mcat? Let me guess.... you want to be a plastic surgeon for the stars?

Although I love anatomy, I don't think I could do surgery. I'm too impatient and edgy, there's no way you could trust me handing surgical instruments, lol.
