I'm taking genetics this semester, and the class is 60 percent tests, and 40 percent HW and participation. So far, I only got an 85 on the first test ( Average was 68, highest score was 90). Our prof does give extra credit, and even scales the class a bit, but he only said he'd do that like 5 times and what if he's lying? Also, I don't know if that's gonna make a solid A possible for me. I might just have to contend myself with an A-. Am I done for med school? If I can't make a solid A in a bio class, who knows if I'll be able to save patients in the future.
