Hello all. I've been lurking around these boards for a while now. I thought I'd seek your guy's expert advice.
I'm basically looking for the best books/software to prepare for the DAT. Here is what I've compiled so far from reading various threads.
Cliffnotes AP Bio for bio.
Destroyer for ochem, bio.
Achiever for practice tests.
Crack for PAT practice.
Kaplan blue book for general stuff.
Are there any other books I should add to the list? Should I upgrade to the deluxe edition of Crack for their math section?

Pretty much it. Ur all set!!
Top Score perhaps.

Best of luck

Great choices what you got for Gchem? I really liked Pricneton MCAT if you can borrow from any firends. But the destroyer is also good there!

Yea I agree maybe sometimes for reference but who has time to read a textbook now for 3 subjects? Plus not focused enough for what need for DAT

I agree. I read through the whole Gchem section of that book and it was quite good EXCEPT for the last chapter or two I felt like it was a tad overkill.
Like they provided way too much info on the electrochemical cells.

So get the Princeton MCAT stuff for gchem? I was hoping the blue kaplan book would take care of it. Is it really that lacking?

Personally i found destroyer with some class notes enough for the gchem and Orgo.

No, I wouldn't get it unless you have a friend who already has it and you can just borrow it from them. Other than that Kaplan GChem is good enough. The only area it is lacking in (or so I hear) is bio.

I dont think you can buy the one book, maybe on amazon but its not a lot only like 200 pages of the book the rest is physics so just borrow it if you can, itll take you like 2 days max
