I am not sure about how the quarter system works... but are 3 classes/quarter a sufficient workload?
Along with your cum GPA, find out your science GPA which is usually more important (bio,chem,math)
Along with getting good grades, you need to work on extra curriculars (volunteering, job, shadowing, organizations, etc).
checkout the application website (i know you are far from applying) to see what all the colleges want to know about your undergrad. For example: instead of doing 5 hour random community service events, it is better you do something 2 hrs a week over the course of your undergrad... such as big bro big sis, habitat for humanity, nursing homes.
Checkout what your college has. get involved in something other than just school. Say sports or arts...maybe even dancing.
Learn a new language, especially Spanish if you dont know already!
So on and so forth....
