Hi guys,
I submitted my apps on 06/21/06 with crummy DAT scores (I'm declining to state 🙁 so I decided to take it again last week and scored 19/19/19 which was a BIG improvement, though not oober outstanding. I just sent the official DAT scores to the dent schools. So does that mean that even though I turned in the app in june, I'd now be considered a late applicant bc I just submitted my dat scores now? ::sigh::

Yes because schools only start processing apps. when they are COMPLETE. And since your app was not complete until now, it wouldn't matter whether you submit it in june or late aug/early sept

Yes, most schools will only just now start going over your apps and NO, you are not late. Getting later, but not yet late. Only in SDN-world have you missed the boat -- and that's full of gunners and overacheivers.

Hey, maybe the have already been reviewing your application, since it was by all means complete since you had DAT scores in. Then all they had to do is wait, see your new and improved DAT, and BAM!, interview time! Just trying to be positive😉

I respectably disagree. When i called nova, UNLV, Arizona, UOP, and case...the admission told me i was either not early...or a little late and i turned my stuff in a while ago. The OP is relatively late no matter how you put it, bc every school already has a couple thousand applicants in front of him. the overzealous applicants in the sdn world would consider past august late...but in the real world i think past september or into october is pushing it. this in no way suggests you shouldnt try applying, merely pointing out the reality. gl.

Thanks for the input guys, especially the positive ones 😳 . Had time to call some schools. Uop said my app is already in review and this takes about 4-8 weeks 👎 , UNLV said my app was already in review too and it'll take another 2-4 weeks 👍. Most schools said they'll re-review it once they receive my new scores. Late or not, just glad it's in review and not rejected...yet!
