As a freshman, I've done pretty well this year in my classes, bio, chem and other electives.
I received an A+ in most of my classes (rest were A). When applying to schools (grad and ugrad), Ive heard that an upward trend is desirable if one begins with a mediocre freshman year.
Because my freshman grades are solid, it seems like the only way is to go down unless I maintain a 4.0 which would be unlikely with harder classes.
How would admin officers view this? Thoughts?
Thanks guys🙂

....seriously? Do you actually think you will have a problem because you didn't trend upwards from a 4.0?

If serious, yes, you are over thinking it, and yes, you need to get out more.

I highlighted the vital part you included, yet ignored, in your OP.

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: .....

I mean, you honestly should have thought ahead and grade-hustled the adcoms. Nothing like a few intentional Cs and Ds in some 100 levels and then A+s in Orgo, Biochem and Analytical to really throw them for a loop.
