Just took the Step I exam and flat out guessed on at least 7-8 questions a section; like ran out of time and had to just pick an answer guess. On top of that, I am pretty sure I got a decent amount wrong on the other questions. Damn, I think I'm in deep doodie🙁

depends on what score you were shooting for. randomly guessing on 7-8 won't suddenly make you fail if you were otherwise solid. also, depending on how many answer choices there were, probability dictates that you can expect to have gotten 1 or 2 of those questions correct.

it's tough luck, some of their sections have a lot of those lengthy stems that really eat your time.

I believe they generally email you in the morning and then your score becomes available a few hours later. It's generally somewhere between the 3rd-6th Wednesday after your test.

As said above, that's a tough break, and I imagine you'll score several points lower than you would have otherwise; still, at least it's done and there's no point in stressing yourself out about it now. Good luck
