Am I too late for 2014 match?

Hello..I'm an FMG looking to apply for 2014 - wondering if I'm too late. So many excuses for putting off the exams this year but you don't want to hear them!

From reading previous threads it seems advantageous to begin applying to programs early, as close to Sept 15 as possible. I have completed step 1, and scheduled to do step 2 CK/CS mid-Oct.

Is it worth applying on Sept 15 solely with my step 1 score, or is it better to wait until I receive my scores back from step 2, which may be late Nov/early Dec?

no you are not too late....

the earlier scores are in the better, however, you will likely not pick up too many interviews (unless you have a great step 1 score). Most programs want to see US-IMG's and moreso FMG's have all 3 scores available before they will be invited for an interview. So assuming you stick to your schedule, CK won't come back till November and CS till January. This will make it difficult for you to put out the best application possible as you are missing 2 large components.

Why continue to procrastinate, it's July, get your CK done. Schedule CS for August/Sept. Give yourself a fighting chance.
