Is USMLE transcript required for fellowships

I would assume the requirement for fellowship is the same as it was for residency
And what is the requirement
Whatever it was when you applied to residency. And what is the requirement
The question of whether or not you’re required to include USMLE transcripts on ERAS has been debated for years. Some think it isn’t a reuirent, others think it is. You should probably do whatever you did last time
It used to be a requirement to submit USMLE if you took it. Although there was no way for programs to know if you omitted it.
It is now not a requirement at all.

Thanks, I see so if not required, what is the general consensus, is it recommended to submit USMLE in addition to COMLEX if I only took step 1 and did a little better on COMLEX Level 1 (hard to compare both scores though but seems to me)?
Why would you do that? Thanks, I see so if not required, what is the general consensus, is it recommended to submit USMLE in addition to COMLEX if I only took step 1 and did a little better on COMLEX Level 1 (hard to compare both scores though but seems to me)?
Stop overthinking this. Submit COMLEX and move on.
That's what I did.Why would you do that?

You did slightly better on comlex assuming? That's what I did.
And there isn't an advantage to having both like usmle as well for fellowship programs like when applying for residency there seemed to be an edge by having step 1 as well.
Quite a bit better on the COMLEX for both step/level 1 and 2. I wanted an allopathic residency as a DO, that's the only reason I took the USMLE. In my mind it gave me some apples to apples comparison with the other MD students that were applying if the PDs weren't as familiar with the COMLEX. Not sure if it was necessary, but it worked for me and I matched at my number 1. :You did slightly better on comlex assuming?

Oh so you're talking about residency and you only submitted comlex sounds like?
I was wondering more for fellowship what the consensus is.

You can ask the question in as many different ways as you like but the answer remains the same.Oh so you're talking about residency and you only submitted complex sounds like?

Sorry for redundancy. To only submit comlex correct? I'm pretty sure that's what you meant. You can ask the question in as many different ways as you like but the answer remains the same.
Still yes.Sorry for redundancy. To only submit comlex correct? I'm pretty sure that's what you meant.
Agreed. I know spell check is dumb, but its COMLEX, not complex. But I think you know that as a DO.Still yes.

Sorry, corrected.. autocorrect, but it is a complex exam🙂Agreed. I know spell check is dumb, but its COMLEX, not complex. But I think you know that as a DO.
Can I PM anyone that would know how to compare both scores, if one is better than other one..
What is your concern about them? If you're a DO, you have COMLEX scores. If you're and MD you have USMLE scores. I'm confused.Sorry, corrected.. autocorrect, but it is a complex exam🙂

That I'm limiting myself by not having both or you're just saying they don't care as long as you have one..What is your concern about them? If you're a DO, you have COMLEX scores. If you're and MD you have USMLE scores. I'm confused.

Is USMLE ID still entered in the personal info page if only releasing COMLEX?
Not required, you will need to enter it if you ultimately do want to send a USMLE transcript. And you can update it at any time (even after applying)
