Last year i submitted my primaries and never submitted any of my secondaries. So this year i am completing my secondaries and there is a question which asks if i am a reapplicant.
"If you are a reapplicant, what have you done since your last application to become a more competitive applicant"? (PCOM)

My question is since i submitted my primaries last yr... does it make me a reapplicant for this yr or am i still a first time applicant for this specific college?

Thanks for the help in advance....

I also vaguely recall something about a strong stigma at many schools against people who dont follow thru w the process their first around. Filling out a primary but then never filling out a secondary if it's offered shows a lack of commitment to that school. I'd probably avoid reapplying to the same schools as you've already flaked on them once.

Can you please think a little harder and tell us which schools frown upon applicants who don't follow through their applications?

Thank you

there are many reasons why someone would send in primaries and not secondaries, and i think it is ridiculous to say that someone "flaked" on the secondary....i think schools would be losing out on some great applicants if they did this, and i really hope this is not the case as i am one of those people who unfortunately had to withdraw applications prior to submitting secondaries

Agreed. Everybody's situation is different. OP, apply as a re-applicant and make sure you can explain why you didn't complete the secondaries.
