I'm happy to see many of you have retracted your AMA membership. Clearly they dont have OUR best interests.
What's more disappointing is how they obtain their membership. For example, in MANY states if you are trying to get licensed there. They require an AMA "profile".
If you are not an AMA member this profile is 45 bucks or so. If you are a member its around 30. As a result most people just pay the 30 and get the free JAMA,etc associated with membership. Whether you join them or just pay 45 bucks, the AMA gets the money.
