I apologize in advance for my ignorance.

In submitting primaries do I have to tell my school to send a transcript to AMCAS, and does that transcript get forwarded to all schools I apply to, or do I have to send transcripts to individual schools?

And when is the AMCAS deadline? I was thinking of sending primaries in September or so. But I don't know how late that is--I have a couple of family probs to attend to, so I had to travel to my home country--just in case one thinks I'm behind.

You just send the transcript to AMCAS, which only uses it to verify what you enter in online. You should send in your AMCAS (which is your primary application) as soon as possible, it's getting late.

Good luck.

Hey researchprof, I'll try to help:

1. You must tell all of your schools to send your transcripts to AMCAS. Each college that you've attended must be told, individually, that your transcript must be sent out..AMCAS, after it receives, processes, and verifies your application, will then sound out your transcripts to the schools to which you have applied..

2. the AMCAS deadline is different for each school. You may want to check the MSAR or each school's website on the internet. I would submit it ASAP if I were you!

Thanks alot. So if I infer correctly, being that I have attended only one school, my school should only ONE transcript to AMCAS?

I am still hesitant as I screwed up in VR last april. don't know about August, so that is another thing that has been "motivating" me to apply late.

😳 Oops, I didn't realize you only went to one school. So, if you've only taken college courses at one university, then you will only be sending one transcript to AMCAS 🙂

Try to remain optimistic about the August MCAT..regardless of how you performed, you should still be motivated..You can do it!
