So, I turned in my AMCAS application in early July, and I got it verified around July 22nd. I have been working on my secondaries, and I just noticed a mistake on my AMCAS application. On my application I stated that I volunteered at a hospital from August 2007 until December 2008. But, I actually only did until December 2007.

I made an honest mistake on the year, but I want to fix it. How do I go about fixing the situation? I don't want the medical schools thinking I lied to them about my volunteering and possibly reject me on it...

Do I call each and every medical school and inform them of my mistake?

Thank you for your help guys!

Have you turned in secondaries already? Usually there is an additional comments section or something like that. If not, you could send update letters. I really doubt schools will check on your stuff, but I can understand why you're anxious, I would probably do the same thing. Maybe you can call couple schools and talk to some people directly?

No biggie. Send an email. I am currently scheduled to commit academic misconduct in the fall semester of this year at a university I no longer go to. X_X
