two questions:

Can I submit my application to AMCAS before all they receive all of my transcripts, ie will it be sent out to schools?

I have had a problem with one institution getting my transcript sent AMCAS - the rest of my application is done and I want to submit it now, but I think its realistically going to be at least another week or so. I'm starting to get concerned.

Also, from the time you submit your application on AMCAS - how long does it take for them to send it out to all the medical school?

There's already tons of threads about this, but I'll answer it for you.

You cannot submit your AMCAS without your transcripts (you can submit it without LORs, but not transcripts). The whole point of the AMCAS verification process is to double-check your actual grades with your transcript and to calculate your AMCAS cGPA and sGPA. It takes about 2-4 weeks to get verified. Once it's verified, med schools will receive it.

darn so it looks like i might not get verified until late july/early august

how much is that going to hurt?

What about sending another transcript in if your school's on the quarter system and you have to update schools with spring grades still?

You've done the following already:

-submitted a transcript that includes grades up to winter quarter
-submitted AMCAS to start the verification process
