AMCAS: Are transcripts supposed to be sent after the App?

Can a transcript be sent while I'm filling out the AMCAS? I printed the request form and sent it in a week ago. The AMCAS system still says "Not received", but from my University's end, it says "sent".

Is this normal?

Is it bad to send the transcript before sending the whole AMCAS form?

You should submit your transcript prior to submitting the application, because they need the transcript to verify it. It seems like it's taking a while to process the transcripts, so I wouldn't worry about yours not being marked as received yet.

Amcas says its adding I'm the transcripts that arrived 6/22. Mine was sent on 6/27. Just gotta keep my fingers crossed for this one

Should have solicited your university to sent the transcript closer to the time applications opened (in May), it's better to get that sent in before the submission date so you can get verified faster. Don't stress about it too much though, what's done is done.
