Hey SDN,

When I do an audit of my AMCAS application, I get this:

Warning Biographical Information Other languages blank

I only speak English and I'm not fluent in other languages. I don't
know why I get this warning.

Warning Number of MCATS entered does not match number of
results AAMC has on record.

Every time I put in 1 for MCATS taken, it changes it to 0. I don't
know what to do here. I've taken the MCAT but it keeps saying
0 MCATS taken.

Warning MCAT/Other Test information blank

I don't know about other tests to include. I guess I could include
SAT results.

I am confused about this.

Also, another question: in the PS experiences section, I only have
10 and one of them is Dean's List/National Dean's List, do you think that is okay number? I have hobbies (make gift cards,
interest in politics and soccer, I sing) and don't know whether I should group them together and add them as hobbies to the list?
I haven't mentioned these anywhere else and considering that I
mainly have volunteer experiences and no research, I did not know if I should add the hobbies just to tell a little more about me.

Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it. I have emailed AMCAS and called them but they referred me to the instructions.
Also many thanks to people on here who read my personal statement and gave me feedback. It has really helped me!!

Thanks SDN!!!

I was wondering if somebody on here could help me with these questions because I don't know if I doing the right thing.

I am going to try to get through to AMCAS but yesterday they were not picking up their phones.

Thanks
Catherine

Hey Catherine,

Welcome to SDN!
I think I may be able to help ya out.

Yeah, don't worry about that. It happened for me too. I've submitted, and the initial check went fine. I think it's intended just to bring it to your attention if you had missed it and do speak another language. The same holds for other test information. If you haven't taken or don't plan to take the GRE's, LSAT's or some other test, then no worries. Just ignore it.

This just indicated that they haven't yet received the scores for your april mcat. You can still submit if you'd like before you actually receive them, but it may be useful to see your scores in order to set your list of schools.

In terms of the extracurriculars, anything you can add that may tell a little bit more about yourself will be useful, but try not to make it sound like you're adding filler. If you have contributed a considerable amount of time to the project and feel you could talk about for about ten minutes in an interview, then by all means add it to your list. The amount of activities you have isn't as all as important as the commitment.
Do you play soccer, make cards, or sing through an organization? If so then you can definitely put these as separate activities. If they're all just extra hobbies you have, you may only want to put one or two, but I may be wrong about this.

Thanks Wardens for your help. I really appreciate it!
