Today, AMCAS opened the “Choose your medical school” (CYMS)webtool. This is a non-binding preference to indicate to programs, your thinking on where you are in the process of selecting a particular program. As indicated, it is non-binding and you could potentially change this choice on a daily basis. It is only reported to programs in an aggregate and anonymized manner.
CYMS allows programs the ability to forecast their enrollment, and to extend potentially additional offers of acceptance. Please login into your AMCAS application and consider your choices. If a program that has extended you an acceptance does not show in among your choices, contact the program as the full process of your acceptance offer has not been completed by that particular medical school. Your participating helps "oil" the process while protecting your privacy...
