Question above. My courses are listed like this. Subject....Number....Name. For example my bio course is listed as BIO 1010 Intro to Biology
I can't get a clear answer as to whether it includes the course subject or not.
The AMCAS applicant guide for 2022 says "Course numbers should include all letters and numbers associated with the course (i.e., BIO 101)" However I called AAMC and the lady said to only include what is under the number section. So in my case it would be 1010 and not BIO 1010 seemingly.

Can people who had their apps verified last year comment on if you did input the course subject in the course number section or not?

letters and numbers, just as it appears on your transcript
I understand that I include any letters and numbers that are under the 'course number' section of my transcript. However do I also include the subject that comes before the number?

Another question I have is that the AAMC tutorial video says to write 'and lab' for those courses that have lab but it is not specified in the name. Does that mean for a course like Genetics I would put 'Genetics and lab' ? That's not how it looks on my transcript so I don't see how this makes sense. Especially since we can then choose in the next question combined lecture and lab.
