Guys im in a pretty strange situation and need some help.

After submitting my application for verification (which did not include the microbiology and neurobiology 7 credits) that I took over the summer, I had my new transcripts sent which included these classes and thier associated grades. However, upon processing, AMCAS has not verifed these classes, perhaps due to my school not sending the transcripts as I had asked.

The inclusion of these classes only impacts my gpa only by +1, however I feelt that these classes contribute to my upward GPA trend (and maybe reflect on my ability as a student b/c they are upper level courses). However, on the other hand, I am very close to the deadline and wanted to send out my primaries ASAP, like tonight or Wednesday night.

Is it even worth the trouble to call the shool, check with AMCAS, perhaps wait to have the transcript edited only to go up +.1 and help support my academic trend with 2 classes (that are upper level bio classes)?

Or should I just apply with the current verified grades as time for me now is very crucial? considering im already near/past the deadline for most schools?

Thanks any help is appreciated guys.

I would call AMCAS tomorrow and ask. I had a question about a certain thing on the app and it took me 5 mins to solve it by calling them.

Thanks for the quick response.

That was my original plan. But I considered that b/c this is a transcript/grade concern, it may take long to correct and I don't really have too many days to spare?

Well, has your app finished verification? Usually AMCAS goes through your courses and the transcript you sent in. Then they edit and compare the two.

Yea just finished verification. I'm thinking that perhaps either my school didn't actually send my most updated transcripts (as I requested )?

Any idea if changes can be made once the application is already verified and sent to school? I know this is a sort of weird question.

I believe you have a short period of time (i.e. a few days) to lodge a request with AMCAS to rectify a processing error. Can't remember exactly how long the window period is, but they're supposed to fix it within 1 week. If you read their verification policy you will find out the exact procedure, I'm just trying to recall it offhand right now

Something does not add up. If they did not receive the transcript you would not be complete to process. Still your call.

I looked at the verification email. Changes must be initiated within 10 days. Call AMCAS up OP.
