So I screwed up one of my activities and put the wrong end date and it's two years off. I initially listed the activity as repeated
02/2016 - 08/2017
06/2018 - 08/2019
but just decided to consolidate it as one activity and wanted to continue it until matriculation. I reported my estimated future hours but forgot to change the end date, so instead of being 02/2016 - 08/2019 it is 02/2016 - 08/2017 with my estimated future hours which is way off. I can't change it on AMCAS. I'm just not sure how to word my email to schools. My advisor said to just send a short email asking to change the date, but I feel like I should explain myself to show it was just a stupid mistake. Please help?
