Hi,

So I am coming from kind of a research heavy background with a good amount of clinical experiences as well. On my CV, I titled a lot of these experiences as "Research Assistant". When I am entering my activities into AMCAS, however, I do not want to have like 4 titles saying "Research Assistant" in case an adcom might accidentally overlook one experience.
Can I label the experience name as "Research Assistant in ____" or "Research Assistant in the Department of ______" to make it easier on the eyes?

I say yes! If you can come up with a title that makes sense and is representative of the research you did with the characters allowed, go for it.

Of course - given that most people will probably peruse your titles and then read further if something specific catches the eye, this is advantageous. Just keep your modifier/clarification of the title brief enough to allow a good skim-read.
