Can we separate paragraphs within each description of the AMCAS Work/Activities section? The print-out shows wide gaps between the sentences where a paragraph ends and the next one begins (hard 'returns'), but no real line separation of the written word/paragraphs.

Help? Thank you kindly.

I was actually wondering about this as well. I tried many things, but nothing worked. So I've decided to just not have paragraphs and jumble it altogether. 😕

Yeah...I actually tried using a bulleted format initially...that looked ridiculous in the pdf format. So, it looks like I'll be using one big paragraph for each description. Kind of frustrating...

Another question. What should the tone of these descriptions be. Are they supposed to be formal, simply describing the activity, or more personal, where you would describe what you did and how it affected you. :scared:

i stuck with primarily formal, but added a little personal touch at the end

Bump/Anyone able to figure this out?

I have a lot of descriptions where I combined several things into one entry, and it looks really bad to have spaces instead of newlines separating them.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think that schools get too see virtually the same thing that we do when it prints out. Right?

I agree bullets don’t’ work. So, I used paragraph from and ended up hitting the "return" key 20 times or so to start the sentence on the next line. It looks much better when you print it out. Although, there is a character limit, so you have to have the room.
