AMCAS GPA rounded down??

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Relax, it won't make any difference.

My AMCAS cGPA was 0.01 lower than the one listed on my online transcript from college. It doesn't matter, so I couldn't care less. No one will reject you because your GPA is 0.01 short of what they want!

Just got verified! (woohoo!) But...just wanted to check: is everyone else getting rounded down? So a 3.645 is a 3.64 instead of a 3.65? 🙁 I know it's just a 0.01, but I need all the help I can get. Is this worth a grade change request?

maybe they're just applying proper sigfig rules.

This may be a silly question, but where do you find your verified GPA?

Does it round at all? Say, from 3.578 to 3.58?

First, I just want to echo everyone else's sentiments that you shouldn't worry about it at all.

Secondly, to perhaps ease your thoughts of feeling like you've been cheated here (since I'm pretty sure they round correctly), is it possible that your 3.645 is actually something like a 3.6449 and therefore, looks like 3.645 when rounded to the thousandths, but is correctly a 3.64 when rounded to the hundredths?

Once your AMCAS is verified, you can get your verified GPA by logging into your application and clicking the "Print Application" link on the right side of the page.

Anyone else find that some of the things you used to worry about are ridiculous in hindsight?

Thanks for that. I have some waiting to do for processing, but it's good to know.
