I submitted AMCAS June 11th, and it was processed and verified about a week later. THen the schools I applied to were listed on the Welcome page, but next to "Date Transmitted" for every school, there is no date.
Is this a glitch or is it normal? Has my application been transmitted to the schools? If so , why is there no date? I have no received any secondaries yet.

    Thanks.

I wouldnt worry about it too much. It will get to the schools. Last year, those dates didnt appear until a while after the transmission had actually happened. Not to mention, some of those dates never appeared and yet schools got back to me.

You have plenty of time. Dont worry about it too much at this point.

Have people who submitted after June 11 already had their apps verified? I'm still waiting....

Same problem with mine... I started a similar thread a few days ago. Someone (I don't remember who - sorry!) replied that the "official" transmission date is July 8, but med schools might receive your info sooner than that; it just won't show up on the welcome screen. But I never even got an email that my application finished verification so I'm still a little worried... Did you get an email?

    Hey guys,
When should we expect to get secondaries. I submitted on June 14th, and my application says 'processed' but no trasmission dates either. I wonder about secondaries because I'm out of the country until mid August, and there will already be a time delay with the mail for me. just want to know when to keep an eye out!
    Thanks.
Also- if I resubmit the applicaiton with a new adress, will this delay my transmission dates etc?

With all the screw-ups last year my application didn't get transmitted for months! I wouldn't worry about it for now. But it's worth taking a look at the websites of all the schools you're applying to, because some of them might have their 2ndaries posted online, and you can fill them out and submit them even before AMCAS transmits your app. This is what happened with a number of schools I applied to last year, but I expect a lot of it had to do with the AMCAS problems. Anyway, it's worth a look. Yale, Sinai, Einstein and others had their 2ndaries online last year.

    TroutBum,
That's great your app was verified. I called AMCAS, and it turns out they had a hold on it (even though they didn't notify me of this and it said nothing about this when I logged in). Anyway, the hold was their mistake, and it is supposedly being verified now. Hopefully it will be completed soon!
